Well...Mika's US and Canada tour is now over and he is back in the UK for the big night tomorrow, the Brit awards. Now that the Writers Guild of America have successfully taken out both The Golden Globes and the People's Choice Awards this year, they are setting their sights on a new, unlikely award show: The Grammys.

While tradionally the Grammys only use writers to write the celebrity banter usually spoken before an award is given out, the Writer's are now trying to get the Artists involved in boycotting the ceremony.

After being nominated for four Grammys, taking home "Best Hard Rock Performance" and "Best New Artist", in 2003, Evanescence is once again nominated for "Best Hard Rock Performance" for their hit song "Sweet Sacrifice".

The frontwoman for Evanescence, Amy Lee, states "This is truly an honor. There is no higher prize in our industry and no even as spectacular as the Grammys. We are grateful for the nomination."
