So, with the Brit Awards launch party just around the corner, the big question is, who will be nominated and for which categories. There has been many speculations that the nominees for best male will be James Blunt, Mika and possibly Dizzee Rascal. But, Mika will surely get nominated for quite a few this year?

He has had a lot of success in 2007, from his debut single reaching no. 1 and staying there for 5 weeks, to his album' Life in Cartoon Motion' which has once again climbed the charts to its currrent position at no. 4.

I reckon he might also be nominated for Best single (Grace Kelly), and possibly british breakthrough act!

But, we will find out on January 14th whether the 24 year old pop star has been nominated and for which awards!

In other news, in this week's chart, three of Mika's singles have reclaimed their place in the top 40. His newest single, the re-released Relax take it easy/Lollipop has gone in at number 20.  Mika's debut single which has stayed in the charts since its release in January 2007 has climbed back up to number 35 and finally Mika's last song, Happy Ending has dropped 7 places in the top 40 to number 39.
