Mika's art to be displayed again!

tags: artwork | life in cartoon motion | Mika | Yasmine Penniman

Back in July, many fans of the pop star will remember that some of Mika's artwork was displayed at the Gallery in London. The display consisted of different pieces that were designed by the 24 year old star and his older sister, Yasmine Penniman who helped him with the album artwork. It ran for three days and attracted many people to the small gallery. But, the latest news is that Mika has plans to display his work again this summer.

Sources say that he will be taking part in this year's Belgian expo called 'It's not just rock n roll'. Over 20 singers will have their own room dedicated to their artwork and Mika has been announced as one of these people!

The translated extract from www.standaard.be is:

BRUSSEL - Rock Werchter and Bozar are working together next summer. They're inviting pop musicians who are also active as artists.
..........

The summer expo in Bozar is called: It's not only rock-'n-roll and has been created for the 33 years existence of rock werchter.

Each of the 20 participants get an own room(!!!!). Other artists include David Bowie, Ron Wood, Mika, Graham Coxon van Blur en Björk.

The initiative comes from rock werchter but the collaboration with bozar isn't finished yet......

The expo also needs performances and unplugged concerts.

*********

The expo will be happening at the Bozar museum in Belgium, but the dates for this has not yet been released!

If this display is as good as Mika and Yasmine's last exhibition in London then it will be an occasion not to be missed!
